What grades does CWSCS serve?
Chicago West Side Christian School serves students from full-day PreK (ages 3–4) through 8th grade.

What type of Christian school is CWSCS?
CWSCS is an independent, non-denominational Christian school. We are not a Catholic school and are not affiliated with the Archdiocese.

What are class sizes like?
Our typical class size is between 13–15 students, with an approximate student-to-teacher ratio of 10:1.​

How is faith formation incorporated into the school experience?

Faith formation is woven throughout the school day and culture. Students participate in:

Do students have to be Christian to attend?
​
No. We welcome students and families from all backgrounds and respect wherever someone may be in their journey with Christ. Our goal is to provide a loving, supportive environment where students can grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

What extracurricular activities are available?

We offer a variety of extracurricular opportunities, including: Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, Cross Country, Choir, Praise Dance, Drama Club, Archery, Math Triathlon, and Writer’s Club…and more!

What are school hours?
The school day runs from 8:15 AM–3:15 PM.

Before Care: 7:15 AM–8:00 AM
After Care: 3:15 PM–5:30 PM

The cost for before/after care is $5.50 per hour, per child; no advanced sign-up is required

Do you accept transfer students?
Yes! We accept transfer students throughout the year as long as seats are available.
​
How much is tuition?
We are committed to keeping tuition as affordable as possible for families. Thanks to the generosity of donors and supporters, tuition is currently just $5,250 per year for K–8 students.

Tuition assistance is available for qualifying families based on income.
Action for Children is accepted for our PreK program and before and after care.

CWSCS currently serves approximately 126 students and we are growing.
